Commission A Piece

I began Commissions in 2023.Commissioning a piece of Art, for me, is one of the most enjoyable, wholesome and pure experiences a person could have. To meet people and learn about their perspectives, thoughts and feelings is a very organic thing .

What is a Commission? Well, the final piece is the complete product of collaborative thought and vision, creating and designing , reasoning and friendship between you as the Commissioner and I as the Commissioned: I am simply the medium between your vision and the product at the end. It is truly yours, and it comes from your soul.

From the outset Commissioning a piece is a personal, immersive and thoughtful process: a vision is presented and we discuss all avenues in depth. Where has the idea come from? What does the vision truly mean to you? The more I know, the more you share with me about yourself and your life experiences, the greater the connection you'll have with the piece. Ultimately, the more information I can transcend physically, emotionally and directly into the finished piece, the better. I find this makes for extremely joyous conversations filled with sharing memories, loves, passions and of course what has inspired you to get a Commission: where does it fit into your life?
