He Is - 100cm x 50cm

Commissioned by AM, this piece is centred around Religion and Belief.

Depicting an expressionist version of the famous parable of the 'Jesus Forgives and Heals Man', Luke 5: 17 - 39, the piece displays Jesus receiving and healing a man lowered down through a roof. Worshipped by the surrounding crowds, the piece symbolises and instigates hope, love and belief for AM - a really lovely concept and welcomed challenge for JMW Walker to put onto Canvas!

Placed pride of place on her wall in her living room surrounded by her most precious art and photographs, AM continues her long lasting relationship with her Religion as it shines on her everyday.

Commissioned by J & M, this piece is centred family and being together.

Celebrating J's 60th Birthday as well as paying tribute to J's late father, this piece was a surprise commission, masterfully and diligently planed by M. Whilst in the design process, M and JMW Walker talked extensively about what is / are the most important things to J. Concluding that family and being with family is tremendously important to J, a design was made to resemble what a family meal would have looked like when J and her siblings were growing up - all EIGHT of them at the table!

Placed purposefully in the main corridor in her flat against a cream wall, much like her family the piece shines beautiful colours and joy into her life for J to enjoy everyday.
